As a television/film Director the work has always been rewarding and yes, I still love directing...  yet  creating a  film or a show was and is not enough. So  I began to draw...and scenes I directed with a moving camera became graphic landscapes, city streets and people in paint.  The emotion of a performance for the camera became color and movement framed in compositions on paper and canvas.   The influences of one medium became the aesthetics of another.  People say in some paintings,  they can almost hear the sounds .  I hear it too....that's why I paint.
